OECD says economic activity in Russia continues to grow
MOSCOW, Apr 10 (PRIME) – Russia’s economic activity continues growing, and the Composite Leading Indicators (CLI) index calculated by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) for the country rose to 101.3 points in February from 101.1 points in January, the OECD said in a statement on Monday.
“Amongst major emerging economies, the assessment remains unchanged from last month, with CLIs in China, Brazil and Russia pointing to growth picking-up and the CLI for India signaling easing growth momentum,” the OECD said.
The CLI includes early signals of economic growth or decline, preceding economic dynamics changes and can be seen as a short-term economic development forecast.
